Inspired by the hazards and injuries caused by the "Tide Pod Challenge" occurring at the start of 2018, I began a brief personal project dedicated to figuring out how to change the candy-like form language of current laundry detergent pods into a a new product that was still looked appealing to a buyer, but did not look as though it was intended to be eaten.
I started with rough, early-stage thumbnail sketches to explore a variety of forms of the pack itself.
After reviewing my concepts, I created more refined sketches in order to further develop the design, considering how elements such as silhouette, value graphics, and color would affect how a user might perceive this project.
